Biography
Zoe has a first class honours degree in biological sciences from the University of Oxford, a Masters in Molecular Functions in Disease and a PhD in molecular parasitology from the University of Glasgow. Following her PhD, she spent two years at RCUK, working across all seven Research Councils on policy related to research careers and diversity issues. She then moved to London for a job at Cancer Research UK, where she spent three years in the Science Funding department, working on several different funding committees. Her last role at CRUK was a Senior Research Funding Manager, leading the team responsible for fellowships, personal awards and training.
Zoe joined RED in 2014 as a Research Development Manager for the Faculty of Medical and Veterinary Sciences. She moved across to support the Faculty of Health Sciences in 2017.
