Biography
She holds a PhD in signal and image processing. She began her career as a research engineer at INRIA Paris (French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation), where she worked on multi-modal image analysis for cancer diagnosis. In 2018, she joined the University of Oxford as a postdoctoral research associate, specialising in ultrasound imaging. Yi is the co-inventor and lead developer of OxNNet, an AI-powered ultrasound diagnostic tool.
Research interests
Yi is a Lecturer in Machine Learning for Health in the Department of Population Health Sciences. Her research focuses on medical imaging, AI application and interdisciplinary innovation.
