Research interests
Xuan Shao completed her DPhil at the University of Oxford. She was an Emile Noel Fellow at New York University and a visiting researcher at China Foreign Affairs University. She is an executive editor of Chinese Journal of International Law. Her research focuses on international economic law, sources of international law, and comparative public law. Her research has been punished in leading journals and has been listed as ‘Best of Law Journals from Oxford University Press’ twice. Xuan has worked at the ICSID of the World Bank and assisted the UN International Law Commission Special Rapporteur on General Principles of Law.
