Research interests
My PhD research examines the ways in which LGBTIQ Zimbabwean activists develop their citizenship as they engage the contradictions of sexual politics in their post-colonial context through their activisms. Adopting a reflexive approach, I use documental analysis and interviews to explore the discourses they articulate and their strategies to manage their visibility and enact their sexual citizenship.
