Biography
During the past two decades Tim has provided consultancy services in executive management on an interim and contract basis in the technology, life-sciences, finance and engineering sectors, which he has combined with roles teaching mathematics to A-level.
Tim has returned to the University of Bristol on many occasions
Shaping the commercialisation journey for UoB spinouts, particularly in the quantum technology space. The Centre for Quantum Photonics Shaped the emergence of the £270m Quantum Technologies programme within the UK’s leading Quantum activity at the University of Bristol with PI’s Professor Jeremy O’Brien and Professor Mark Thompson who subsequently left the UK to raise ~$1E9 as PsiQuantum Corp.
Applied problem solving into highly regulated markets and industries
Aviation Research and Development Director for special projects: Microbiological recycling of composite and traditional aviation components. Aerotek ISO:9100/9110, EASA, FAA and TCCA approved global Component MRO and precision engineering shop working on wheels, hydraulics and landing gear for fixed and rotary wing aircraft
Cell & Tissue Processing and Regenerative Medicine
innovative personalised regenerative medicine business - specialised in the processing analysis and storage of human cells and tissue samples for future therapeutic use. Then the only commercial entity to gain Blood Establishment status from the Medicines Healthcare and Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and FDA approval.

Research interests
Exploring the role of aerosol mediated risks for the initiation and development of the pathologies associated with Dementias (specifically Alzheimer’s) and other neurodegenerative diseases.
