Research interests
My research focuses on disgust, particularly understanding the its relationship with gastric rhythm (measured with EGG) and brain activity (EEG). A significant aim of my research is to explore the possibility of disgust habituation using a pharmacological intervention that can hopefully be translated into a real-world intervention for the experience of disgust in healthcare workers.
My research is funded by a University of Bristol Faculty of Life Sciences International PhD studentship, and is supervised by Dr. Edwin Dalmaijer and Dr. Angela Attwood.
