Research interests
A PhD student researching uranium corrosion in geological disposal facility conditions, with the EPSRC Nuclear Energy Futures CDT.
Last year, as a MSc student, I investigated whether uranium oxides are photocatalytically active. I plan to continue my research into this alonside my PhD.
By understanding the long-term behaviour of spent nuclear fuel, safer and more sustainable geological disposal facilities can be engineered.
