Before joining DREI operations team, I volunteered at a local Community Centre, doing some general admin work, as well as processing and creating food parcels for visitors. During this time, I realised I really enjoy helping and supporting people, which I suppose is what led me to this role! I previously completed an Art Foundation Diploma, but I didn't find creating art in a school setting to be all that inspiring. I'm still an avid creator in my spare time; I think it's much easier to feel motivated to make art when you aren't being marked for it!
