Biography
I am an Oxford-trained junior doctor, (BMBCh, MA (hons)), who graduated early and worked through the global pandemic. I've worked in the NHS including in respiratory, acute medical, neurosurgical, and psychiatry units. I’m currently pursuing my passion for medical education by teaching medical students at the University of Bristol.
I also have strong experience in digital health, having achieved an MSc in digital health with distinction. This course provided a different perspective on medicine and highlighted the importance of technology in healthcare of the future. Through it, I’ve developed skills in coding, data science and AI alongside completing a module on responsible innovation in healthcare. The course culminated in a summer project where my team ‘launched’ a mock wearable to help patients with osteoarthritis.

Research interests
Research interests in medical education including decolonising the medical curriculum and students as educators.
Teaching
I currently work at Bristol as a teaching associate at the medical school. This involves the delivery of content such as clinical skills sessions for years 1 and 2 and regular student contact in case-based learning and practicals. A highlight in this role has been designing and delivering a 6-week student choice module on the use of AI in medicine, where I helped students build their own AI models for a real-world health problem.
