Biography
I studied Forensic Science at the University of the West of England (UWE), focusing on the analytical chemistry pathway, graduating 2019. I went on to do my research masters 2019/20 at UWE in Applied Science, looking into the synthesis and characterization of novel Molybdenum based complexes and their potential use as anti-cancer agents (until the COVID-19 pandemic closed everything down March 2020).
Before my current post, I worked for Dr Lucy Cramp in the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology, as a Research Technician as part of the "Roman Melting Pots: tracing food residues and cultural diversity in a frontier zone" project, preparing and analysing pottery samples from across Roman Britain through known qualitative hyphenated techniques (GC-MS, GC-C-IRMS, GC-QTOF)
