Biography
Research interests
Richard's research focusses on financial reporting, audit, public sector accounting, and accounting pedagogy. His current projects are addressing the issues of underinvestment in healthcare, public sector audit, and the intgeration of public value and AI into the accounting curriculum.
His research has been published in leading international journals including the Journal of Accounting and Economics, Accounting and Business Research, and Accounting Education.
