Biography
I have a fine art background and began my career in arts administration and event management. Following a stint of volunteer teaching abroad, I decided to return to the UK and pursue an alternative creative career in marcoms, which led me to undertake a marketing internship at The Architecture Centre.
I have been employed at the University of Bristol’s acclaimed tech incubator, SETsquared Bristol, for nearly 10 years, where I have progressed through programme administration and events management to my current Marketing Officer role.
I manage digital and offline marketing and communications campaigns for Enterprise Services, as well as supporting with strategy development.
My responsibilities include:
· Communications and PR planning and execution
· Producing creative content for programmes, events and newsletters
· Website development and updating
· Social media campaigns, including analysis and reporting
· Video content creation and distribution
· Events marketing and hosting, leading on the flagship Tech-Xpo showcase
· Event and programme sponsor relations
· Company members’ PR liaison and promotion
· Stakeholder engagement with key partners and media
