Research interests
My research focuses on migration, diasporic community and identity, citizenship, and the state. I am particularly interested in how identity shifts and is renegotiated between individuals and the state, and how this is enacted in the everyday. My research is UK-based, and focuses on the BN(O) Hong Kong diasporic community in the Bristol area.
