I'm doing a PhD in sociology. Using ideas from STS, book history and economic sociology, I'm interested in what digital technologies (particularly generative AI) are doing to the scholarly book, and how its stakeholders are renegotiating publishing practices. When I'm not doing my PhD, I work for Bristol University Press where I acquire new titles in research methods, and the social studies of science and technology.
