Biography
Currently studying for a PhD in Engineering Mathematics, my research focuses on machine learning for synthetic biology (whole-cell modelling).
I began my academic journey as a Mechanical Engineering student and developed an interest in biomedical research during internships at Xiros and Exceed Medical, both specialising in medical device development. I then pursued a master’s degree in Engineering Mathematics at the University of Bristol, where I gained advanced knowledge in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Applied Mathematics, and further strengthened my skills in computational modelling and independent research. Naturally, this led me to pursue a PhD in the same department, following my growing interest in biomedical science.
