Research interests
I am a clinical haematology specialist trainee doctor with a research interest in genomic medicine and applied epidemiology. I am in my final year of a Wellcome Trust-funded PhD fellowship (GW4 clinical academic training programme). My PhD is focussed on exploring genetic determinants of cancer-associated venous thromboembolic disease.
More broadly, I'm interested in using data-driven approaches to improve health outcomes for people with haematological conditions. I'm committed to transparent and reproducible use of research data and improving the representation of patients from diverse backgrounds in genomic health research.
