Research interests
Matt is a PhD researcher in Sociology. His research interests include social and political theory (particularly gender and feminist theory), digital sociology, interpretive methodologies and the ethics of online research.
His PhD research explores how practices of gender self-identification are shaped by digital platforms such as wikis, X, Tumblr, Twitch and Reddit.
