Biography
I'm currently the Impact Development and Knowledge Exchange Associate for Engineering and the MyWorld Programme, where I support researchers to weave impact plans into their funding proposals and undertake knowledge exchange activities to translate the outputs of their research to industry or non-academic settings. I offer training and support to build capacity in research impact, and support collaborations with industry to accelerate innovation.
Previously, I delivered the Prepare for Impact programme across the Faculty of Science and Engineering. I organised training sessions to increase skills and competency in communication, media interviews, networking, etc. I ran an externally-led mentoring scheme, bringing together our industry and policy contacts with early- and mid-career researchers. Prior to this, I coordinated the preparation of the Faculty of Engineering's impact case studies for the REF 2021.
