Biography
Kira is a Doctoral Teaching Associate in the School of Computer Science. Her core interest lies in Explainable AI (XAI); not just as a technical challenge, but as a means of empowering people, encouraging critical engagement with AI systems, and fostering collaboration across disciplines.
Currently, she is applying this vision to the medical domain, investigating how AI can provide impactful and trustworthy insights to support assessment of pathology images. Kira is equally passionate about education, driven by a belief that complex ideas should be accessible to everyone, regardless of background or level.
