Kerrie joined the University in 2002, initially based in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering. During this time, she held roles in undergraduate admissions and programme coordination, contributing to both the recruitment and support of students. She later transitioned into finance research support roles, where she developed a strong understanding of research funding processes and financial management within the academic environment.
In 2011, Kerrie joined the Research, Enterprise and Development (RED, now known as DREI - Division of Research, Enterprise and Innovation) team, where she has held a variety of roles supporting research across the breadth of the University.
