Research interests
I am interested in examining the paradoxes that emerge when responsive supply chains pursue sustainability. Employing a critical realist perspective, my research draws from strategic operations management theory and supply chain to empirically examine potential conflicts/tensions in the predominant logic that emerge when developing completive capabilities and the mechanisms for addressing these conflicts.
My future seeks to explore mechanisms for managing potential paradoxes emerging as disruptive technologies are incorporated into operations and supply chains. Of particular interest, is examining what mechanisms could enhance the adoption and transition, and how these mechanisms could affect the social and environmental sustainability goals in supply chains.
I am currently UNIT Director for undergraduate Operations Management and Deputy Programme Director for BSc Business Analytics
Considering PhD application within my research area.
