Research interests
Research Profile
PhD Researcher at the University of Bristol researching family and fatherhood in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. An experienced researcher with an outstanding academic background in Sociology and Social Policy, and a breadth of experience though numerous roles in student life, politics and the non-profit sector. Research interests in family policy, gender, poverty and inequality and comparative welfare state analysis.
Thesis working title: Exploring the Changing nature of fatherhood in a post-covid context: A cross-country comparison of the UK and US
My research is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (South West Doctoral Partnership) and is Supervised by Professor Esther Dermott and Dr Julia Gumy.
