Research interests
My PhD research project is centred on the response to popular drives for decolonialism by international development practitioners. I have general research interests in the ethics of international development, aid efficacy, and decolonialism.
My wider research agenda is focused on contemporary issues of political economy. These include wealth and income inequality, theories of value (particularly with a view to technology companies), economic policy in advanced economies, the future of work, decolonialism and capitalism, the economic agenda of UK political parties, and the UK residential property market. I write for several non-academic publications on these topics.
I produce research on the UK residential property market and steer investment strategy in my role as Head of Investing at Northcote Property Investment Limited. I am involved with an extensive data collection and analysis project on the UK property market through my affiliation with Burb Limited - the goal being to improve data coverage in the UK property market.
Always open to collaboration and consulting on interesting research, ideas, projects, businesses, and investment opportunities.
