Research interests
A multi-disciplinary multi-faceted approach to understanding the corrosion of uranium in different systems, focusing on the influence of stress on the location and morpholgy of corrosion features. Numerical modelling and experimental data will be used to quantify and predict the effects of stress fields across a uranium metal- metal oxide interface.
