Biography
I joined the Bristol Poverty Institute in 2023 following a few years abroad doing International Development work (Cambodia - education and child rights. Nepal - poverty and social justice) and completing a Masters in Humanitarian Action. Prior to that, I worked extensively in the IT industry (within various sectors - private, public, government, universities, charitable, NHS etc) building websites and enterprise systems, and team leading / project managing.
I have a particular interest in capitalism, neoliberalism and 'disaster capitalism' - and their societal effects.
