My research interests focus on how contrasting forest restoration strategies (natural regeneration versus tree planting) influence soil carbon accumulation and the functioning of belowground ecological networks. I am particularly interested in the mechanisms governing carbon inputs via plant–root–fungal pathways and their subsequent stabilization in soil organic matter. I aim to integrate field observations with biogeochemical approaches, including 14C analysis, to elucidate carbon turnover dynamics and the long-term regulation of soil carbon sequestration.
