Biography
Jessie Jiang is a Lecturer in Management Science and Operations at the University of Bristol Business School. Her research focuses on operational fairness and consumer protection in digital markets. She models consumer decision-making from a behavioral perspective, examines how cognitive biases shape market outcomes, and explores interventions that could mitigate these risks. Her recent research examines consumers’ time preferences, including time discounting and utility from anticipation, in Buy Now Pay Later loan choices.
Jessie earned her PhD from Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. Prior to her academic career, she worked as a business analyst at Wells Fargo in North Carolina, USA.
