Biography
Jessica Harris is an applied Statistician with a particular interest in routinely-collected healthcare data and the use of these within clinical research studies, increasing efficiency of data collection. Jessica has a BSc in Mathematical Statistics (Liverpool), an MSc in Medical Statistics (LSHTM) a postgraduate diploma in Epidemiology (McGill University, Montreal, Canada) and a PhD (Imperial College, London) in the epidemiology of idiopathic fibrosing alveolitis, a life-limiting lung condition of unknown aetiology.
Jessica is involved in postgraduate teaching within several MSc programmes within the University of Bristol's Medical School, delivering sessions on research methods, clinical trials and statistics. Jessica also holds key student support roles, being a Senior Tutor for the Medical School (PGT and Intercalation students) and Professional Mentor Lead for the MBChB programme.
Jessica is involved in postgraduate teaching within several MSc programmes within the University of Bristol's Medical School, delivering sessions on research methods, clinical trials and statistics. Jessica also holds key student support roles, being a Senior Tutor for the Medical School (PGT and Intercalation students) and Professional Mentor Lead for the MBChB programme.
