My research at the University of Bristol is focused on the surface characterisation of continuous, reclaimed carbon fibre (rCF) and its influence on rCF re-processing/re-formatting and interfacial performance in composites.

My wider research interests and experience include textile design (specialising in wovens), additive manufacturing of textiles, discontinuous fibre alignment technologies, product design for disassembly, wetsuit design and recycling methods (incl. enzymatic) and materials for hydrogen storage (Type IV/V pressure vessels).
