Biography
I think of myself as a young financial economist focusing on practical problem-solving for the future. Committing to sharing Chinese stories worldwide and building more inclusive communities, I am now a PhD researcher at the University of Bristol. My PhD dissertation focuses on understanding the effects of artificial intelligence and algorithmic decision-making in the financial markets. Besides, I am also a BILT Student Fellow (working as the Editor-in-Chief for the 6th Student Research Journal), an affiliated member of the Bristol Digital Future Institute, and a research consultant at WorldQuant Brain (UK).
I aim to conduct impactful research to improve social welfare. Therefore, any contacts with me regarding academic research or volunteering opportunities to improve and contribute in different fields are highly welcome.
