Research interests
My research interests include characterising bio-based porous materials (particularly rigid/flexible polyurethane foams) and investigating processing techniques to convert them into auxetic metamaterials. In addition, my work focuses on the structure-property relationship of natural materials (such as wood) and metamaterials. I am also interested in molecular dynamics simulations and synchrotron-based X-ray diffraction and tomography techniques.
