Biography
I undertook postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge in the lab of Prof Sir Shankar Balasubramanian FRS, where I was awarded a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship. I obtained my doctorate under the supervision of Prof Tom Brown at the University of Oxford.
Before this, I undertook research projects at McGill University, Montréal, working in the labs of Profs Gonzalo Cosa and Hanadi Sleiman, and at the University of Southampton with Prof Jonathan K Watts, where I obtained an integrated Master’s degree in Chemistry.
Alongside my role at Bristol, I sit on the Early Career Investigator Advisory Board of the journal Nucleic Acids Research (Oxford University Press) and the committee of the Royal Society of Chemistry‘s Nucleic Acids Group.
