Biography
Hua Jin is welcome to PhD applications in data analytics in various aspects.
Research interests
I am a lecturer in business analytics. My PhD topic focuses on the area of supply chain inventory optimization problems, operational and finance interface, simulation. My research focuses on the development of innovative optimization models and decision support systems to solve real-world problems. There are several research methods can apply, based on the problem need to investigate I applied experiments method to find an optimum solution on inventory, supplier selection, off-shore and re-shore problems.
I am focusing on the research of the helpfulness of online reviews, such as sentiment analysis. Electronic word of mouth (eWOM) are assumed to be a major source of opinions and evaluations of online product. The main research method applies to use secondary data and analysis reviews characteristic in terms of information entropy and sentiment to evaluate its helpfulness.
