Biography
Heather has an academic background in public policy and psychology, and experience in working with the city government/innovation/arts/creative sectors.
She joined the University of Bristol in 2018, following several positions in the local government sector in the fields of sustainability, technology innovation and civic engagement.
Whilst at the University of Bristol, she has led programmes covering civic engagement, innovation pipeline activities, and arts and creative sector partnership development.
She now heads up the Programmes Team in Bristol Innovations, and is working to develop key strategic research-led innovation areas for the University, alongside academics, indsutry and government partners, the city, region and beyond.
