Biography
I am currently undertaking doctoral study in Counselling Psychology, during which I completed a placement at a Family Drug and Alcohol Court (FDAC). Previously, I held research roles at the Domestic Abuse Commissioner's Office and the Centre for Justice Innovation, experiences that strengethened my committment to connecting research with policy-making and frontline practice.
I am currently contributing to the Forgotten 10% Research Project, a mixed methods study led by Lancaster University and the University of Bristol which explores the experiences of non-parents in private law proceedings.
Research interests
I am a mixed methods researcher with interests in criminal and family justice, domestic abuse, and therapeutic and supportive interventions. My work examines how legal contexts impact responses to domestic abuse and the delivery of therapeutic and supportive interventions.
