Teaching
Having taught in a range of Bristol secondary schools, Gillian has experience of students of all abilities from Year 7 through to GCSE and A Levels. She has skill and experience in Pure Maths, Further Maths and Mechanics, and loves exploring these with students helping them to find the same satisfaction from achieving understanding that she does. She is an A Level Examiner which supports her skills in teaching towards exams.
She co-ordinates a sixth forms Maths competition for students from across Bristol and believes that students from all backgrounds should have the chance to be stretched and aspire to be the best they can. This is why she volunteers writing Maths Challenge Questions for the UKMT, and for the Royal Institute tutoring bright Year 8 students at Masterclasses.
