Research interests
As a Research Associate in Electric Propulsion in the Electrical Energy Management Group (EEMG), I am focussed on experimental characterisation of engineering systems across a variety of applications.
- Testing electromagnetic power loss characteristics of components and electric machine subsystems for aerospace electric propulsion.
- Condition monitoring and characterisation of rolling element bearings, studying tribological phenomena in application-specific loading and environmental conditions.
- Performance characterisation of chain drives in high-fidelity loading conditions, mitigating sources of measurement uncertainty, characterising power loss performance and dynamic influences from mechanical and hydrodynamic sources.
