Biography
I have worked in a range of commercial research settings from blue chip pharma to niche biotechs in both operational research and quality assurance roles. My experience includes pharmaceutical and medical device global development programmes and development of quality systems for clinical-stage organisations. I have lead audits in a range of organisations, clinical programmes and clinical trial sites.
Over the course of my career, commercial research projects have become more complex and generate increasing quantities of data. I help organisations to ensure they have sufficient systems and capabilities to assure the provenance and integrity of research data by using process-based techniques to monitor and risk assess data at each stage of the data lifecyle.
As a certified privacy professional I have helped small companies integrate the requirements of GDPR into established quality systems using existing risk-based approaches to identify and manage risks to special category personally identifiable information.
