Research interests
Mr. Fengqiang Wang (pronounced /fung-chee-ang wong/) is a Ph.D. candidate at the School for Policy Studies. His doctoral study has been jointly funded by University of Bristol and China Scholarship Council. Mr. Wang's research focuses on experiences of LGB+ individuals coming out to their parents in mainland China, and family relationships between Chinese parents and their LGB+ adult children. This research is supervised by Associate Prof. William Turner, Prof. Misa Izuhara, and Prof. Paul Willis.
