Research interests
I am a doctoral researcher at school of education at University of Bristol. I am studying how students from an Adivasi community in India experience formal education. My work engages with decolonial and anti-caste perspectives and involves co-creating pathways to an epistemically just future.
A turning point in my career of 10 years as an educator, is my experience as a fellow teacher at an Ashram school (residential government school set up for children from Adivasi communities). My experience here moved me to work towards epistemic and social justice in education. Prior to my PhD, I worked as an outdoor educator and researcher in India and designed outdoor programmes using place-based pedagogy.
