Biography
Chiara became a member of the Jean Golding Institute team in January 2021. As Development Associate, she develops and promotes the Institute’s interdisciplinary research portfolio providing project management support and leading on flagship events. Chiara joined the University of Bristol in 2018 managing operations in the School of Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Engineering Maths. She has a degree in biology from Cardiff University where she studied the effect of climate change on parasites. She participated in a study tour to Japan in affiliation with the Association of University Administrators to learn about Japanese-Bristol research partnerships and the HE sector. Cardiff University sponsored her to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, Management and Leadership with Nottingham Trent University. As a creative collaborator she brings an awareness and understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion through reflective practice.
