Biography
I work as Lecturer in Social Sciences on the International Foundation Programme (IFP) at the Centre for Academic Language and Development, University of Bristol.
My interests include governance, the politics of resilience, youth studies, critical pedagogy, international relations theory.
I completed my academic studies at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in History (BA), Trinity College London in TESOL and the University of Bristol in International Relations (MSc). I hold Senior Fellowship (HEA).
I have taught in a range of areas within the social sciences and humanities, including cultural studies, contemporary global issues, foundations of psychology, introduction to social sciences, international political economy, research methods. I have worked on curriculum and assessment design, and education programme development across social science disciplines.
Prior to joining University of Bristol, I coordinated the Business, Law and Social Sciences pathway as Academic Leader at University of the West of England, Bristol’s International College.
