Biography
Currently I work in RED, in the Key Partnerships Team. Previously, I worked as a Technology Transfer Manager in a project called AgorIP at Swansea University, a £20m Pan-Wales project which aimed to bring academics, clinicians and businesses together to pioneer research into cutting-edge technologies and drive commercial success to Wales.
Here are the list of roles and projects I was involved before my current role here:
* I managed the Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) project (funded by EPSRC), working to create commercial outcomes from Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing research projects.
* I worked as a Knowledge Exchange Officer in the Centre for Sustainable Aquatic Research (CSAR) and was involved with various externally funded projects including WG, Academia for Business scheme (A4B), FP7 and industry sponsored research projects. I was responsible for communicating and managing partner relationships; identifying potential partners, providing support to local fish farms and creating platforms for KE activities.
* I was part of a large ERDF/WEFO funded project called WISE Network comprising a collaborative project between Bangor, Swansea and Aberystwyth universities. The WISE project aimed to help maximize the potential of Welsh businesses in the green economy, and to assist them to develop sustainable products, processes and services.
*I worked in an ESF funded initiative called ‘Choice’, which aimed to support children and young people to deepen their engagement with education and training.
