Research interests
Anna Brady is an SWW DTP student in History at the University of Bristol. Broadly, she is interested in Jewish refugee communities within the British empire. Specifically, her doctoral research explores the relationship between space and identity for German Jewish refugees in Shanghai, 1935-45.
Anna received a Bachelor's in History from Cambridge University and a Master's in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from the University of Amsterdam. Previously, she assisted research at the Dutch Institute of War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies. Currently, she is supporting the development of digital interactive testimonies with the Holocaust Educational Trust and University of Southern California Shoah Foundation.
