Research interests
Dr Amy Manley is the Lead for Undergraduate Psychiatry Teaching at the University of Bristol and a Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist at University Hospitals Bristol. She is currently completing her PhD at the interface of medical education and psychiatry, investigating the student experience of stress.
Dr Manley has a breadth of teaching experience and was awarded her Masters in Medical Education in 2019 from the University of Dundee. She taught on the Teaching and Learning in Health Professionals Masters Degree and has been involved in the development and implementation of the case based learning medical curriculum at the University of Bristol. Her interests lie in the fields of student mental health, workplace learning, technology enhanced learning and improving acute hospital care for people with mental health problems.
