Biography
Background
Introduction:
Ammar joined Health Economics Bristol (HEB) in May 2021 as a Research Associate after completing an MSc in Health Economics and Decision Modelling at the University of Sheffield.
Ammar’s key research interests are about economic evaluation alongside clinical trials (EEACT) & decision-analytic modelling of healthcare interventions.
Qualifications:
MSc Health Economics and Decision Modelling, University of Sheffield (2018 - 2020).
MSc Health Economics, University of Khartoum, Sudan (2010 - 2012).
BSc (Hons) Pharmacy, University of Khartoum, Sudan (1995 - 2000).
Research
Ammar is currently working on research projects at Bristol Trial Centre (BTC). He is engaged in multiple trials, involving: Parkinson's disease, kidney disease, domestic violence and orthopaedics.
Research-related activities:
Ammar is also work with the Research Design Service South West (RDS-SW). His role is to provide health economics methodological advice to researchers developing grant applications.
