I’m a Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol’s Cabot Institute for the Environment. My work focuses on organisational culture and service delivery in higher education, with particular emphasis on postgraduate research culture and inclusion.

My current Research England–funded projects examine how universities can better support mature, parent, and carer postgraduate researchers by developing more inclusive and supportive policies and practices.
Previously, as Principal Investigator, I led a project that created a toolkit to help postgraduate researchers build and sustain their own peer support networks.

More broadly, I explore how research is shaped, shared, and valued, and how collaboration, culture, and equity influence academic life. Drawing on expertise in epistemic politics, academic hierarchies, and equitable knowledge production, I aim to identify systemic barriers and develop practical, evidence-based strategies to foster more equitable, connected, and supportive research communities.
