Research interests
I explore the entanglements of state violence and resistance through the lenses of mobility and abolition. My first book project maps the German deportation regime as a transnational field of conflicts and foregrounds the knowledge of those struggling against deportation. This project draws on a decade of fieldwork and activism with people who migrated from West Africa and grassroots networks. Additionally, I have conducted research on racism in German local courts and criminal legal system.
