Research interests
I am a PhD student at the British Geological Survey affiliated with the University of Bristol. My focus is on developing non-invasive geophysical imaging technologies to rapidly assess the internal condition of safety critical water retaining structures including flood embankment and earthen dams. These techniques have the potential to provide detailed volumetric sub-surface information related to for example, lithology, strength, cavitation and moisture content – thereby greatly assisting in the condition assessment of these structures and early warning of failure.
