Biography

Sarah is Professor in Health Policy and Gender at the Centre for Research in Health and Social Care at the School for Policy Studies. She contributes to a number of taught programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level, specifically around health policy in a global context. Her main research in recent years has been in the area of sex and gender influences on the health of men and women, with projects funded by the Department of Health, the World Health Organisation, the Equal Opportunities Commission and Leverhulme.
